"The Christian meaning of death is revealed in the light of the Paschal mystery of the death and resurrection of Christ in whom resides our only hope. The Christian who dies in Christ Jesusis "away from the body and at home with the Lord."
- Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1681
Death can be a burden of sorrow and grief for any family. Our parish family exists in part to help bear the pain of death by helping to remember the joy and hope found in Christ's conquering of death. Funerals bring out that joy and hope within the context of the community of faith.
If you need to make funeral arrangements for a loved one, please contact Josephine Cowen at 798-1224.
