Lessons from a mid-January Week

Hear from Marc on the importance of loving Jesus and others authentically and intentionally, even during the doldrums of winter. He also explains why this week in particular is an important time of prayer for Christians everywhere.

Recycle the Warmth Blanket Drive

St. Francis Xavier is partnering with St. Vincent de Paul to ensure it is a warm winter for our neighbors in need. You can help by donating a clean, gently used blanket or purchasing a brand new one at any of the seven Dane County St. Vinny’s stores for Recycle the Warmth, the 29th annual blanket drive, January 29-31.

Culver's Concrete Mixer Share Week

Visit Culver’s Cross Plains between January 24th and 31st to help support the St. Francis Xavier Endowment Fund. For every Concrete Mixer sold that week, Culver’s will donate $1 to our Endowment Fund!

This coming week, St. Francis Xavier will join over 6,000 other Catholic Schools Nationwide in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. We will kick off the festivities by celebrating Mass together at 10:30am on Sunday, where we will pray for all of our parishioners, faculty, benefactors and volunteers, as we are so grateful for all you do to contribute to the success of our school and the formation of our young people.

St. Vincent de Paul Donation Bins to be Removed

As of February 1, 2021, St. Francis Xavier will no longer be a donation drop off location for St. Vincent de Paul.

St. Vincent de Paul has decided to remove the bin and sheds, from our lower level parking lot, due to the unfortunate and costly misuse of the area.

Face Masks Required at School Masses

St. Francis Xavier requires everyone who is able to wear a face mask to do so when attending Mass. To ensure the safety of our students and staff, we ask those who are unable to wear a mask, to refrain from attending Mass on Thursday and Friday mornings when our students are present.

All Masses are available via live stream from our website and YouTube Channel.

An Epiphany House Blessing - 2021

Fr. Scott has made chalk and instructions available for all parish families to take part in the time-honored Christian tradition of "chalking the doors." This simple house blessing helps us ask Christ to bless those homes so marked and that He stay with those who dwell within throughout the entire year. House blessing packets are available for pick up at our Church entrances.
